If comfort and forgiveness matter more than maximum lateral support, the standard Stance is the sensible option. It has enough structure for regular skiing but stays easier to get into and more flexible than more performance-focused boots.

The Stance is HO's comfort-focused open ski boot, with enough lateral flex to make entry and movement easier without feeling loose on the ski. The UltraLite base keeps the plate light, while dual lace zones let you tune the lower foot and cuff separately.

Its zero-drop orthotic footbed and GAIA PVC-free liner are aimed at all-day comfort and balanced connection to the ski.
