$799.90Wakeboards - Built for Boat Riding & Real Progression
Choosing the right wakeboard matters more than many people realise. We have a firm belief that too many people chase specs, features and technology. But for the vast majority of riders, this makes things more difficult. These boards can feel like they have a life of their own. But if you’re still building the foundations of your riding - edge control, wake-to-wake jumps and basic grabs & spins - you want the opposite. You want stability, versatility and forgiveness.
And let’s be real, that’s where 95% of wakeboarders are at. So that’s what we’ve built our entire range around.
A Curated Range You Can Trust
Rather than stocking every wakeboard available, we’ve deliberately curated this range around proven shapes from brands we trust most, including Liquid Force, Hyperlite, Raptor, Jobe, and Connelly.
These are brands with long track records in wakeboarding, known for boards that ride predictably, hold their edge well, and suit real-world riders - not just athletes chasing podiums. Whether you’re learning the basics, riding casually with friends, or starting to progress into tricks, these boards are chosen because they work.
Wakeboard Sizing - Why It’s Critical
Wakeboard sizing is one of the most important decisions you’ll make. Board size affects:
- Stability: Larger boards offer more surface area, making them easier to balance on and more forgiving at slower speeds.
- Control: Smaller boards feel quicker edge-to-edge and more responsive, but can be harder to manage if you’re not ready yet.
- Progression: The right size helps you build confidence instead of fighting the board every session.
As a very general guide, most kids under 10 will ride boards in the 120-130cm range, older kids and teens will ride in the 130-135cm range, and adults will rider 135cm+. For a more detailed
Understanding Wakeboard Features
Wakeboards differ in shape and construction, and variations of these features all combine to provide a unique style for each board.
- Rocker (the curve of the board): Continuous rocker provides smooth, predictable lift off the wake, which helps beginners and progressing riders stay balanced. More aggressive 3-stage rockers can create extra pop, but often at the expense of consistency.
- Fins and edge design: Moulded-in fins and longer edge channels help the board track cleanly through the water. This gives riders confidence when moving edge-to-edge and reduces that unsettling “sliding out” feeling. Some boards also feature centre fins (often removable) which are often essential in helping the board track straight for first-timers.
- Hull shape: Concaves and subtle channels under the board soften landings and help the board sit more comfortably on the water, reducing fatigue and impact on knees and ankles.
- Materials and construction: Modern wakeboards use layered cores and durable outer materials to balance strength, flex, and weight. The goal isn’t just durability - it’s a board that feels lively without being unpredictable.
Choosing the Right Wakeboard
If you’re shopping for a wakeboard in Australia and want something that makes sense for everyday riding, this range is designed to simplify the process. Focus on:
- choosing a shape that suits your current skill level & riding preferences
- prioritising predictability and comfort over extreme performance claims
- matching the board size to your weight
If you’re unsure where to start, our team is always happy to help you choose a board based on how you ride, the boat you ride behind, and what you want to get out of your time on the water.
Why This Range Works
This isn’t about having the most wakeboards on the wall. It’s about having the right ones - boards that help riders enjoy the session, build confidence, and progress naturally over time.
Less guesswork. Better riding. More good days on the water.
