Correct sizing matters more than buying a 'better' adult board for a child to grow into. The Hazard makes the first season easier, gives young riders genuine control and leaves enough performance there for first jumps once the basics click.

Grom-approved shred stick. The 124cm Hazard is built around young riders rather than asking them to fight an adult board that is simply too big. Continuous rocker keeps the ride smooth and predictable, while the centre fin and moulded side fins add useful tracking as they learn starts, edging and wake crossings.

It is light enough to control, tough enough for kid treatment and sized so progression happens because of the rider — not in spite of the gear.
