Lightweight Comfort
Fit
Airprene is a lightweight, fast-drying, and more breathable alternative to neoprene, unique to the KGB/IVY lineup.
The first thing you’ll notice is how light this vest feels compared to other men’s jackets. The lower density and airflow also mean quicker drying and no more putting on a cold, wet vest between rides.
The Tempo prioritises mobility where you need it, while keeping the rest of the vest simple and comfortable.
A less tapered cut than other, more performance-focused vests provides a nice, neutral fit - ideal for the average bloke. Simplified, targeted segmentation gives the vest enough flex in the right spots without overdoing it and adding to the cost.
The foam and construction used in KGB’s range are a big part of their secret sauce. They ensure there’s enough buoyancy to meet AU standards, without the bulk you get from other vests.
Let’s be clear, KGB’s gear is built to survive many hot, harsh Aussie summers. But just in case something goes wrong, you’re covered by a 12-month manufacturer’s warranty.
The Tempo meets L50s standards, approved for towed watersports like wakeboarding and waterskiing all around Australia.
For jet skiers, some states require L50 standards in certain conditions so double-check your local regulations before finalising your order.
Across the whole size range, the Tempo offers a nice, neutral fit, so you should be able to match it to your t-shirt size comfortably.
The fit becomes even more generous in larger size ranges (2XL and up), making it a terrific option for bigger blokes.
