This is the safe recommendation when one board has to cover the whole boat. It removes plenty of early frustration, but there is enough response underneath that you are not buying something everyone grows out of after one summer.

Unleash the beast — or just cruise around. The Temper has earned its place as the Raptor all-rounder because the shape does not demand much from a new rider but still gives a stronger rider something to work with. Wide tip and tail keep the ride forgiving, moulded fins make edge changes predictable, and the 2-stage rocker gives it enough wake pop to keep progression interesting.

The reinforced PU core is there for the less glamorous reason that family kneeboards get knocked around. The Temper is built to survive that as well as the riding.
