Don’t be afraid to size up!
While the size guide above can be helpful, there are some benefits to going a little larger on the scale.
Most notably, you’ll have more surface area under your feet which provides a more stable ride. You'll also be able to slow the boat down, which will should give you a little extra punch off a larger wake.
Buying for kids? Think longer term…
If you’re buying for younger shredders, you’ll want to think about next season and beyond.
Consider going up a size to ensure they get an extra season or so out of the board (depending on how quickly they grow of course!).
Looking for a communal board?
We get a lot of customers asking for a board that’ll suit the kids as well as Mum and Dad. Ultimately, a board that’ll suit your 12 year old grom almost certainly won’t work for Dad.
Our solution? If buying two boards is out of the question try and split the difference, but lean towards the larger end of that scale.
